Does The Pressure Gauge Have A Standard Service Life?

First of all, the pressure gauge needs periodic inspection (usually for half a year or one year). First, check whether the internal elastic components are sensitive.

In many cases, pressure gauges need to work in the high pressure range for a long time, and quality pressure gauges can work without pressure for a long time. 25Mpa is a commonly used range and is widely used.

The life calculation method of the pressure gauge is different from most commodities. It does not take a few years as the life. Its life calculation is related to its structure. The core component of the pressure gauge is the Bourdon tube inside the pressure gauge. When pressure comes in, the Bourdon tube deforms, drives the pointer to change, and displays the pressure reading. The life of a wave tube is calculated based on its number of deformations. For example, domestic tubes are usually 5,000 and 10,000 times, and inlet tubes are usually 100,000 times. German tubes are often used for 200,000 times. When the Bourdon tube reaches the number of uses, the deformation After that, it will not be restored, causing the pointer to not return to zero, or the Bourdon tube rupture, etc. At this time, the life of the pressure gauge is over.

Of course, pressure gauges and Bourdon tubes will reduce the number of deformations if they are operated in a high pressure range for a long time, but the impact is not obvious, so don't worry too much.

The most common damage to a pressure gauge is transient overpressure. For example, a 25Mpa pressure gauge often reaches more than 30Mpa when the unit is started. The pressure gauge is very easy to damage, and it often happens once or several times.
