INTELLIGENT-DIFFERENTIAL-PRESSURE-TRANSMITTER
An industrial automation instrument used to measure the tiny pressure difference between two points
The intelligent micro-differential pressure transmitter is an industrial automation instrument designed to measure the tiny pressure difference (ΔP) between two points. Its measurement range is usually between several pascals (Pa) and several hundred pascals, such as 0~±25 Pa or 0~±1000 Pa. Due to the small measurement value, it must have high precision and high sensitivity, capable of distinguishing even the slightest change of 0.1 Pa.
The intelligent micro-differential pressure transmitter converts the measured pressure difference into standard industrial signals (usually 4-20mA current signals or digital signals) for transmission to control systems, display instruments, or data acquisition systems. Its "intelligence" lies in usually supporting the HART communication protocol, enabling remote parameter configuration, equipment diagnosis, and calibration. The core sensor mainly adopts capacitive or piezoresistive (silicon strain gauge) principles. This device is widely used in fields such as filter pressure drop monitoring in HVAC systems, cleanroom pressure control, medical equipment pressure monitoring, combustion control, and flow measurement.
The intelligent micro-differential pressure transmitter is a specialized industrial automation instrument designed to precisely measure very tiny pressure differences between two points. It converts this tiny pressure difference (ΔP = P₁ - P₂) into standard industrial signals (typically 4-20mA current signals or digital signals) for transmission to control systems, display instruments, or data acquisition systems. Its measurement range is usually in the range of several pascals to several hundred pascals, with high precision and sensitivity, capable of distinguishing extremely small pressure changes.

The typical working principle is: two pressure ports (high-pressure port H and low-pressure port L) are respectively connected to the two points where the pressure difference needs to be measured. The pressure is transmitted through the isolation diaphragm and filling liquid to the core component of the sensor (such as a capacitive or piezoresistive sensor chip). The weak electrical signal generated by the sensor is processed by the built-in circuit for amplification, linearization, temperature compensation, etc., and then converted into a standard signal for output.
The intelligent micro-differential pressure transmitter has high precision, high stability, and intelligent functions (such as supporting HART communication protocols for remote configuration and diagnosis), which are crucial sensors for ensuring process safety, energy efficiency optimization, and environmental compliance. It is widely used in scenarios that require monitoring very small pressure differences, such as HVAC (monitoring filter pressure drop, air volume control), cleanrooms (maintaining pressure gradient), medical equipment, combustion control, flow/liquid level measurement, and leak detection, etc.
The intelligent micro-differential pressure transmitter is used to measure the differential pressure in a micro-pressure environment.
