A universal pressure transmitter is a device that can convert pressure signals into standard electrical signals (such as 4-20mA, 0-5V, etc.). It can be used to measure the pressure of non corrosive media such as gases, liquids, and oils, and is widely used in industrial automation control systems. It is suitable for measuring process control pressure in industrial sites, aerospace fields, petrochemical industries, as well as urban water supply, water conservancy, electricity, chemical industry, air pumps, laboratories, hydraulic and other fields that require pressure measurement and control.
Taking the common universal pressure transmitter as an example, it has some typical characteristics:
Measurement range: The maximum gauge pressure can reach (0-300) MPa, and the minimum (0-100) Pa; Maximum absolute pressure (0-100) MPa, minimum (0-10) KPa; The maximum negative pressure is (-0.1-60) MPa, and the minimum is (-50-50) Pa.
Accuracy level: There are usually different levels to choose from, such as 0.1% FS, 0.2% FS, 0.5% FS, etc.
Overload capacity: generally 1.5-3 times the range.
Long term stability: less than 0.25% FS/year or less than 0.5% FS/year.
Power supply: usually 12-36VDC, with a calibration voltage of 24VDC.
Output signals: Common ones include (4-20) mA (two/three wire system), (0-10/20) mA, (0-5) V, (1-5) V, (0-10) V, RS485, etc.

Working temperature: Generally -40-80 ℃, with the addition of a heat sink (optional), it can reach up to 150 ℃.
Compensation temperature: -20-70 ℃.
Process connection: M20 × 1.5 external thread is commonly used, but can also be customized according to user requirements.
Protection level: usually IP65, can prevent dust and water, and adapt to certain harsh environments.
Electrical output type selection: There are various methods such as Hirschman connectors, direct output, and aviation plug-in, which facilitate electrical connections in different scenarios.
