Town enterprise employees show vitality, fun sports meet
On the afternoon of May 29th, the sun was shining brightly, and the playground of Liushi Town Fifth Middle School was bustling with activity. The Liushi Town 2025 "Centennial Workers' Movement and New Era of Labor Advancement" Workers' Fun Sports Meeting, jointly organized by the Yueqing City Federation of Trade Unions, the Liushi Town Federation of Trade Unions, the Liushi Town New Business and New Employment Group Trade Union
Federation, and the Qili Village Trade Union Federation, was successfully held here. Intended to provide a platform for employees to relax, enhance their relationships, and showcase their team spirit, further promoting the spirit of labor and inspiring their enthusiasm for work. This sports meet attracted a total of nine teams from enterprises, communities, and emerging industries to participate.
The sports meet kicked off in a warm atmosphere, presided over by Zheng Xiangle, Chairman of the Liushi Town Federation of Trade Unions. Xiang Senchong, Minister of the Rights and Interests Department of the Wenzhou Federation of Trade Unions, Deputy Secretary of the Liushi Town Party Committee (on secondment), and First Secretary stationed in the village, delivered the opening speech for the sports meet. He emphasized the important significance of employee sports in enhancing team cohesion and enriching employee cultural life. He encouraged participating teams to uphold the spirit of "friendship first, competition second", compete with style and level, feel the power of teamwork in the sports meeting, and inherit the torch of the century old labor movement.
There are three events set up in this fun sports meeting: tug of war, first through and land Loong Boat. The competition adopts the point system, which not only tests the physical strength of team members, but also focuses on cooperation and cooperation between teams.
The tug of war competition that took place first had a tense and lively atmosphere on site. Each participating team is gearing up and forming their formation. With the referee's command, the team members tightly grip the rope, lean back, and work together to pull back. After fierce competition, our employees achieved a good result of third place in the tug of war competition with their tenacious perseverance and excellent teamwork.
The following "one through to the end" project requires tacit cooperation among team members. The employees of Hongqi Instrument Co., Ltd. are agile and coordinated. With everyone's tacit cooperation, we completed the competition as quickly as possible and won the first place in the project.
The last land dragon boat race was equally exciting, with each team's "dragon boats" flying like arrows from the bowstring on the playground. Although we faced fierce competition in this project, we still gave our all and demonstrated a tenacious spirit.
After a fierce competition, our employee team ultimately won the third place in the team with outstanding performance in various projects.
The Liushi Town Workers' Fun Sports Meeting not only provided an opportunity for employees to relax and have fun, but more importantly, through various fun competitions, it enhanced communication and cooperation among employees, improved team cohesion and centripetal force. I believe that in future work, the employees of each participating team will continue to carry forward the spirit of unity and hard work, and devote themselves to work with full enthusiasm, contributing their own strength to promote the development of Liushi Town.
