The Bourdon Tube Vacuum Pressure Gauge Is A Type Of Pressure Gauge Based On The Bourdon Tube

Bourdon-Tube-Vacuum-Pressure-Gauge

The Bourdon Tube Vacuum Pressure Gauge is a vacuum/low pressure measuring instrument based on the Bourdon Tube as the core sensitive element, specifically used to detect the vacuum degree (negative pressure) or low pressure values below atmospheric pressure in closed systems.
Core Features and Working Principles
Sensitive component: Bourdon tube
The core component is a hollow metal tube (mostly made of copper alloy or stainless steel) that has been pre machined into a circular arc shape (commonly C-shaped or spiral shaped). One end is fixed and connected to the measured medium, while the other end is a closed free end (connected to the pointer through a connecting rod and gear mechanism).
Measuring principle
When the tested system is in a vacuum state (with an internal pressure lower than the external atmospheric pressure), a pressure difference is generated inside and outside the Bourdon tube, and the tube body undergoes elastic deformation due to external pressure (such as the C-type tube contracting inward), driving the free end to produce a small displacement; After the displacement is amplified by the transmission mechanism, the driving pointer indicates the specific vacuum degree or low pressure value on the dial.
Applicable scenarios
Mainly used to measure the vacuum state of gases or liquids (such as vacuum pump outlets, vacuum tanks, refrigeration systems, etc.), the range is usually expressed in "negative pressure" or "vacuum degree" (such as -0.1MPa~0MPa, 0~760mmHg, etc.), and some models can also be used for low-pressure measurement (such as -0.1MPa~0.1MPa).
key advantage
Simple structure, high reliability, suitable for long-term use in industrial sites;
Intuitive reading (mechanical pointer type), no need for external power supply;
Strong shock resistance and anti-interference ability, suitable for harsh working conditions (such as chemical, mechanical, refrigeration and other industries).
