How to choose the range of the pressure gauge
When measuring more stable pressure, the range should be 1.5 times of the measured value. When measuring fluctuating pressure, the maximum range should be 2 times of the measured value. The range of the pressure gauge should be selected properly so as to extend the service life of the instrument.
Selection of gauge range:
1. When measuring the stable pressure, the working pressure should not exceed 2/3 of the range.
2. When measuring the pulsation pressure, the working pressure should not exceed 1/2 of the range.
3. When measuring high pressure, the working pressure should not exceed 3/5 of the range.
4. To ensure the measurement accuracy, the working pressure should not be less than 1/3 of the range. According to the above principles, after a value is calculated based on the maximum pressure under test, the value slightly greater than this value is selected from the range series of the pressure gauge as the selected range.
