I. Installation Instructions (for both stainless steel & full copper snubbers)

Installation Direction Install vertically. Connect the lower end to pressure pipeline and upper end to pressure gauge. For steam service, reserve condensation chamber to form water seal and block high-temperature steam from directly hitting the gauge.

Thread Treatment Wrap PTFE tape along thread tightening direction. Do not push tape into pipeline to avoid blockage.

Tightening Torque Tighten evenly, do not over-torque. Full copper is soft; excessive force causes thread slipping or cracking. Stainless steel allows higher torque, yet overtightening is still forbidden.

Pre-installation Inspection Remove welding slag and debris before installation to avoid internal clogging.

Safety Rules Install only after equipment shutdown and pressure relief. Raise pressure slowly after installation and check for leakage at threaded joints.

II. Maintenance

Regular Inspection Check joints for liquid or gas leakage. Check copper parts for patina, and stainless steel for pitting or rust spots.

Periodic Cleaning For media with impurities, disassemble and flush regularly. Blockage will disable buffer function.

Environment & Material Check

Full copper: Replace promptly if medium contains acid, alkali or chloride ions to prevent corrosion leakage.

304 stainless steel: Monitor pitting corrosion for brine or disinfection chemical service.

Replacement Replace immediately if cracks, leakage, heavy corrosion or permanent blockage occurs.

Storage Store spare parts in dry condition to slow oxidation.
