Recently, the third the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing. In his speech, President Xi Jinping talked about "original intention", said "confidence", and said "people's hearts".
"This year marks the 10th anniversary of my initiative to jointly build the the Belt and Road. The original intention of this initiative is to learn from the ancient Silk Road, take connectivity as the main line, strengthen policy communication, facility connectivity, smooth trade, financial integration, and people to people connectivity with all countries, inject new momentum into the growth of the world economy, open up new space for global development, and create a new platform for international economic cooperation."
Over the past 10 years, China has signed more than 200 cooperation documents with more than 150 countries and more than 30 international organizations to jointly build the "the Belt and Road", with fruitful results.
More than 2000 years ago, our ancestors opened up the ancient Silk Road with a simple desire for friendly exchanges; Today, we inherit the spirit of the ancient Silk Road and draw a beautiful picture of the "the Belt and Road" initiative.
