According to reports, after the joint efforts of the on-site search and rescue of armed police officers and soldiers and accident investigators, at about 16:30 on the 23rd, two flight recorders (black boxes) were found in the surface soil about 20 meters southeast of the main impact point of the accident site. In one of them, at the scene, investigators conducted a preliminary inspection of the recorder. The appearance of the recorder was severely damaged, but the appearance of the storage unit was relatively intact, and it was initially determined to be a cockpit voice recorder (CVR).
The black box was sent overnight to a professional civil aviation agency in Beijing for decoding. The download and decoding of the recorder data takes time, and may take longer if the internal storage unit is damaged.
After the decoding is completed, it will provide important evidence for analysis and judgment of the cause of the accident. Next, investigators will continue to search for another flight data recorder (FDR) to provide more comprehensive data support for restoring the entire incident.
