Ⅰ,Pressure is the force per unit area

Pressure: absolute pressure, gauge pressure, atmospheric pressure. Correlation: Absolute Pressure = gauge Pressure + atmospheric Pressure 

* Absolute Pressure: when the Pressure represents the difference with the complete vacuum. Measure the actual pressure at the place. 

* Gauge Pressure: refers to the difference between its gas value and the atmospheric Pressure in the region. 

* Pressure Atmospheres: The Pressure generated by the weight of the atmosphere. The standard atmospheric Pressure is 29.92 "inhg. 

Wind pressure: including total pressure (P.T)= static pressure (Ps)+ dynamic pressure (Pv) that is, velocity pressure (V.P). 

Total Pressure=Static Pressure+Dynamic (Velocity) Pressure. 

The pressure produced by the fan is measured by water column, because the pressure of the fan is very small; However, the density of mercury is very high (1mmHg= 13.6mmAq). When mercury column (mmHg) is used to measure, the reading is not obvious, so water column (mmAq or mmH20) is used to measure or calculate.

For example, when the mercury column is used,760mm mercury column =760 mmHg when the water column is used, 100mm water column =100 mmAq. = (4" wg)

Aq is short for Latin Aqua. The pressure of 1mmAq is about 1kg/m2.
