What are the factors that affect the use of pressure gauges?
1. The influence of freezing and vibration:
The pressure gauge is installed outside the boiler and is greatly affected by external conditions.
If the external temperature is too low, freezing, or various vibrations from the boiler body and inside the pressure gauge, it will affect the sensitivity and accuracy of the pressure gauge pointer.
Preventive measures: first, to install a thermal insulation device; second, to install a buffer device, such as a three-way cock is a shockproof device.
Stainless steel shockproof meter.
2. The influence of temperature:
The pressure measurement of the pressure gauge is the action of pressure to deform the spring bend.
If the temperature of the medium entering the spring bend is higher, the effect of temperature will also make the bend deform.
And the high temperature medium acts on the spring bending pipe for a long time, which will cause the bending pipe to deform for a long time.
All of these will adversely affect the measurement.
The way of prevention is that different forms of water storage bends are installed between the pressure gauge and the drum to accumulate condensed water and prevent steam from directly entering the spring bends.
3. The influence of overload:
Spring bends, hairspring and other elastic parts in the pressure gauge, such as often in the limit or close to the limit state. after long-term work will lead to the weakening or loss of elasticity, and even produce long-term deformation.
It is disadvantageous to the long-term operation of the pressure gauge if the pointer of the pressure gauge is often in a position close to or greater than 2p3 of the full scale of the dial.
